Coastline Distribution ("Coastline") was established in 1958 as a single location, wholesale distributor of air conditioning supplies. This was during the height of the building boom in South Florida. Coastline recognized the explosive growth of both single and multi family housing, and the need for a full service wholesaler specializing in supplies and accessories to serve this market. We have since added parts and accessories to focus on the growing AOR (add on replacement) market.

Ft. Lauderdale was selected as the corporate headquarters and the first branch. Over the next few years, additional branches were opened throughout Florida and in the neighboring states of Georgia and Alabama.

Today Coastline stands as one of the giants of the Southeast, with branches throughout the entire marketplace. Coastline has more than one half million square feet of warehouse space, more than 200 employees, and a core of knowledgeable, dedicated industry professionals devoted to our market and our customers.

In 1997, Coastline became part of the WATSCO group of companies, joining the largest and strongest wholesale distribution company in the industry. Additional acquisitions enabled to extend our footprint from Maine through Maryland.

Today's product groups include:

Residential and commercial air conditioning equipment; an extensive and broad lineup of air delivery devices, mini splits, VRV multi evaporator systems, replacement parts, motors, and compressors, refrigerants; tools, ductwork and related accessories, controls and thermostats, as well as all other necessary supplies for complete air conditioning systems.

International Comfort Products ("ICP") air conditioning equipment, Comfortmaker, Heil and Tempstar. Daikin Multi Port, Mini Split and VRV technology, Friedrich air conditioning equipment, Hart & Cooley GRD, Atco flex products, Owens Corning and Johns Manville duct products, Ductmate sheet metal accessories, Dupont refrigerants, Honeywell, White Rogers, and Robert Shaw controls, Malco tools, and many others.
